Makers & Finders Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one Back Server/Server Assistant to join our team. We are located at 2120 Festival Plaza Dr #140. 


The hourly wage consists of a base pay of $11.25/hour plus an average daily cash tip


Background Check and Screening is required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patrons, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus.
  • Serving complimentary snacks to patrons once they are seated.
  • Wrapping utensils in napkins accordingly.
  • Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
  • Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
  • Preparing tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills, clearing away crumbs, replacing soiled linen, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments.
  • Delivering food to tables when Servers are busy.
  • Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of any complaints.
  • Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons.
  • Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies.

Qualifications

  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Able to multitask efficiently
  • Able to handle high volumes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience as a Back Server, Server, Waitress, or Waiter required.
  • Health and TAM Cards are Required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Talking/Hearing: to communicate with public, staff and vendors
  • Walking: to travel different levels of facility and other locations
  • Sitting: to drive a vehicle and for computer work
  • Standing: to put supplies away, to train
  • Lifting: to put supplies away
  • Climbing: to inspect all areas of kitchen and bar
  • Pulling: to open doors; to move furniture and supplies
  • Pushing: to close doors; to move furniture and supplies
  • Stooping: to inspect under equipment; to retrieve supplies at lower levels
  • Crouching: to inspect under equipment; to retrieve supplies at lower levels
  • Seeing: to obtain information from written material, for computer work
  • Carrying: to carry 40 pounds for 25 yards to maintain inventory
