Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to help deliver customer orders to their locations and to provide general assistance around the warehouse with other duties such as trimming signs; pulling orders; and packing orders for shipment.

Essential Functions:

• Be able to load and unload delivery truck safely (Including securing loads)

• Be able to deliver customer orders while providing excellent customer service

• Be willing to learn all aspects of what we do including manufacturing of signs from start to finish

• Be a team player and willing to step up when needed to help other departments

• Operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks

• Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates

• Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards

• Ensure your work environment is clean, tidy, and safe for you and others around you

• Ability to manage fragile materials

• Wrap and unwrap stock from pallets

• Proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the skill, knowledge, and/or ability required. Skills / Abilities:

• Pallet jack and forklift operation

• Able to correctly package items in a safe and efficient manner

• Be able to lift at least 60 pounds

• Productive in fast paced environment while working unsupervised or as part of a team

• Dependable and punctual

• Posses great time management skills

• Able to provide great customer service

• Stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, hear, and walk.

• This is an entry level position that can lead to growth opportunities within the company

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Previous general labor/warehouse experience a plus

• Forklift and similar machine experience

Certifications:

Forklift operator’s license preferred but not required.

Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
CDL not required but preferred.

Work Environment:

While performing the essential functions of this job you will spend about 100% of their time working in a warehouse or shop setting. This individual may be expected to assist in sign making, quality checking or packaging traffic signs and stencils made-to-order.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 7 Am - 4 Pm.

Hours may vary depending on workload and location of delivery. Some overnight stays out of state may be required as well as working a half-day on Saturday as needed.
