Physiologist Position Overview:
North Greenville Fitness and Cardiac Rehab performs health screenings and fitness testing on fire, police, and EMS employees throughout 10 states in the southeast. We have teams of physiologists and phlebotomist that travel to these public safety individuals in various cities, counties, and municipalities to perform the testing on site. Each team travels together throughout the southeast Monday through Friday. Each team consists of 4 physiologists and 1 phlebotomist. One company vehicle is provided for each team, meals and lodging are paid for by the company.
Physiologist Travel:
This is a high travel position Every employee gets his/her own hotel room. 99% of the traveling is done Monday through Friday and employees have weekends off. Expect to be traveling/spending the nights in hotels about 80% of every month. There will be office days through the month.
Physiologist Benefits:
This is a salary position. Full health, dental, vision, life, 401 (k), and disability policies will be paid for completely by the company. All benefits start 30 days after hire. Salary for this position is $34,000 for the year. This includes 1-week paid vacation and all holidays. The office is closed for 2 weeks in December for Christmas and New Years.
Physiologist Requirements:
Knowledge of Electrocardiograms (EKG’s) and EKG monitoring, Able to take blood pressures while patient is on a stationary bike. ACLS certification required with in 1 year of employment. Candidates must live within one driving hour from Greenville, SC. Candidates MUST meet their team at our Travelers Rest office to depart for their scheduled sessions each day/week. Candidates will be required
to travel with 4 others on our company van to all sessions and they must be able to work and interact well with others. Candidates must have excellent and exceptional people skills.
