**HVAC Service Manager**

**Job Summary**:  
We are seeking an experienced HVAC supervisor or service technician ready to take on more responsibility in an office environment. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in HVAC systems and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This role requires a safety-oriented mindset and the ability to efficiently manage and supervise a team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical support and guidance to HVAC field technicians.
- Oversee the dispatch team in scheduling HVAC field technicians as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before billing.
- Manage the service team, including hiring, training, directing, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and administering rewards and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure adequate support and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols.

**Qualifications**:  
The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role of Service Manager in the Service Department. **Education and Experience**:
- Extensive knowledge of various HVAC products, systems, electronics, and building controls.
- Associate degree (preferred) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
- One to three years of supervisory experience (preferred).
- Ten years of field experience in HVAC.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Professional, business-casual appearance.
- EPA Type II certification (preferred).
