These temps will be responsible for visiting patients' homes within their designated region to collect signed clinical documents. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of essential paperwork and facilitating seamless communication between patients/providers and CL's healthcare team.

Must be comfortable traveling within a specific region for these roles (Vehicle is mandatory). They will also be reimbursed for mileage per the current IRS rate.

Region 1: Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn

Region 2: Bronx, Westchester, Manhattan (Primary office location is listed within the Work Location of this requirement)

Hours will be Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

 

​JOB PURPOSE:

The Clinical Documentation Collector – Temp will be responsible for visiting patients' homes within the designated region to collect signed clinical documents. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of essential paperwork and facilitating seamless communication between patients/providers and our healthcare team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit participants' homes / physician offices to collect signed clinical documents as required.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain organized records of collected documents and update relevant databases accordingly. Upload documents in the Organization's designated systems.
  • Communicate effectively with participants to schedule collection visits and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate closely with the administrative team to prioritize collection tasks and coordinate schedules efficiently.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards, regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
  • Provide regular updates to the relevant stakeholders regarding the status of document collection and any notable observations or feedback from participants.
  • All other duties assigned. ​

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or training in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in healthcare or customer service, is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet collection targets and deadlines.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and privacy standards in handling sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and occasional evening or weekend collection visits, as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel and word).
