Job Title: Intake Specialist

Schedule: Part Time - 20 hrs per week (flexible)

Job Summary
The position of Intake Specialist is responsible for intake services coordination that includes assessing the appropriateness of
application for services and scheduling of assessment appointments. This position responds to all requests either by phone or
walk-in for services, information about services when the individual is ineligible for services at The Josselyn Center.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

  • Schedule IMCANS Assessments with appropriate staff
  • Answer phone inquiries live and returns all missed calls same business day
  • Respond to walk in clients questions regarding services
  • Appropriately triage urgent and emergency calls
  • Complete required intake forms and coordinate with billing team
  • Record all contacts on intake log

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or other related subjects
  • Three professional references that reflect suitability for mental health work
