Collector

We are partnered with a national law firm holding a practice dedicated to the collection of delinquent government receivables. For over 40 years they have been providing customized collection programs for their public sector clientele. 

Located in Conroe, TX, they offer excellent training and room for advancement They are seeking a highly motivated collector to join their team. The goal of this role is to contact and collect taxes on delinquent businesses, personal properties, and mobile homeowners. While collection experience is not required for the role, experience in customer service and conflict resolution are crucial skill sets to have for the role. This is your chance to get your nights and weekends back, while growing your skills and gaining excellent experience in a professional environment 

REWARDS: 

• This role has an hourly rate of $16.34/hour 

• Standard Monday-Friday work week (No weekends)

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese 

• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screening 

• Availability during the hours of 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday 

• Previous phone or call center experience  

• Negotiation and de-escalation skills 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Contacting customers and collecting tax payments  

• Providing excellent customer service 

• Assisting customers to understand the charges they have incurred 

• Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities
