Newton, United States Kindernest Montessori Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs Lead Teacher, you will lead a classroom of up to 9 children ages 18 months to 2.8 years old.  As lead teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities facilitating active Montessori learning experiences. You will create learning opportunities that support every child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development. In addition, you will build relationships and communicate regularly with families to support each child's development. In this role, you will support one -two assistant teachers and report directly to the Head of School.

At Kindernest Montessori we are looking for a few special teachers that understand the unique needs of infants and toddlers. We embrace the principles of Montessori education and RIE philosophy (Resources for Infant Educarers) developed by Magda Gerber.

Our approach emphasizes respectful, responsive, and attuned care, fostering independence and self-confidence in young children. We create a safe, predictable environment, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace while providing unobtrusive support. They observe rather than direct, facilitating natural development and fostering secure attachment through trust and communication.
