Lease Administrator / Collection Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Make contact with clients to obtain payment commitment on delinquent accounts.
  • Make contact with clients to obtain updated Insurance information on accounts with expired insurance.
  • Assist the title department in updating and maintaining titles.
  • Answer customer inquiries or concerns in person, e-mail, fax or telephone in a professional, customer- focused manner.
  • Troubleshoot and problem resolution specific to titles: odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
  • Maintains a professional, calm manner when negotiating with difficult or upset customers.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
  • Contributes to and encourages others to demonstrate a team focused, values based, service culture throughout the company.
  • Contributes to effective operations by providing support where and when as needed on sale/customer promotion dates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested to assure optimum service levels.

Customer Service:

  • Consistently maintains and nurtures good working relationship with clients.
  • Maintains a professional, mature, positive and approachable attitude when working with internal personnel, clients and vendors.
  • Effectively works with other department personnel to move account information through appropriate channels in a timely and productive manner.

Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of collection experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of working within the trucking industry preferred.
  • The position requires office skills including personal computer, Microsoft products (Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook), 10-key and the ability to accurately operate other office equipment.
  • Notary designation is preferred.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
  • Impeccable organizational skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently follow checklist procedures.
  • History of successfully multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work in a variety of different software systems simultaneously.
