We are seeking a dedicated Triage Floor Nurse to join our medical team at Eastside Dermatology. The Triage Floor Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions over the phone or in-person to determine the urgency of care needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments to determine the level of care required.
  • Prioritize patient needs based on the severity of symptoms.
  • Provide medical advice and instructions to patients over the phone or in person.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient care is provided.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Follow established protocols and standards of triage guidelines.
  • Ensure pathology and lab logs are up to date and accurate.
  • Monitor culture log.
  • Monito triage emails
  • Oversee packaging and sterilization of instruments.
  • Work on the floor and assist providers, PAs, or NPs with patient care.
  • Document patient charting in EMA.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and providers to ensure proper patient flow during clinical hours.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of medical standards and protocols.
  • Dermatology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of EMR (EMA) is preferred.
  • LPN or RN License - Required
