Litigation Paralegal

Fast paced Personal Injury Law Firm in Henderson seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal. We are a very busy and high energy law firm with a very friendly work environment.  A successful candidate must be organized and be able to multi-task, a self-starter and team player. Candidate must be professional, have excellent customer service skills, have a positive attitude and must have a passion for helping others.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Case Management
• Organizing and handling daily calendar for attorney
  •  Ensure all deadlines are calendared and met
• Legal research
• Drafting documents such as:
  • Pleadings
  • Scheduling orders
  • Disclosures
  • Routine motions
• Court filings
• Medical record reviews
• Client interaction
• Assist in discovery, depositions and trial preparation
• Miscellaneous clerical duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-years prior experience working in a law firm 
• Familiar with Nevada Local Rules in Civil Procedure for State and Federal Courts
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint
• Initiative and ability to meet tight task deadlines
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a desire to learn and grow professionally, which includes participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations
• Available after hours if needed
• Team Player and ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment of customer service
