Warehouse Associate:

Wholesale Distributor hiring, light duty warehouse help to pull, price & pack orders. Looking for individuals who wants to work and be part of a team. Company located on Fuqua, near I-45 South & Beltway 8. Individual must speak English, must be committed to having a good work ethic, be dependable, show up to work and must be flexible regarding schedule; hours are based on workload. 25 to 35 hours a week. Position Description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Description of Job:

Primary Function: Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including pulling, packing, and pricing customer’s orders, shipping and receiving, unloading, and loading trucks, and keeping warehouse, office and bathroom clean and stocked with essential supplies.

Experience: Previous warehouse and shipping experience preferred

Skills and Abilities: Self motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as perform within a team concept; Must maintain strict attention to detail and must be result oriented; Must be multi-tasking and have the ability to manage several projects at one time; Must have good communication skills, Possesses knowledge of warehouse methodology; must be able to lift at least 50lbs.; Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stand during an 8-hr. shift; Basic computer skills a plus; Must be dedicated to maintaining a strong work ethic and committed to punctuality and attendance.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used: General office and warehouse equipment including a computer, printer, pricing gun, tape gun, cutting knife, shrink-wrap, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.

Materials Used: General office and warehouse materials

Position Reports To: Owner of the Company

Duties and responsibilities: (Position Requirements)

· Workday starts at 8:30a.m. (work hours are based on workload) Days end once orders and tasks are completed for the day, Monday thru Friday (some Saturdays may be needed)

· Responsible for incoming and outgoing orders

· Pulls and prepares daily orders for outgoing deliveries and shipments

· Checks in returns and verifies against paperwork

· Responsible for loading and unloading trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments

· Receives, checks in, and matches all incoming orders to quantities on freight bill and purchase orders

· Inspects incoming orders for damages, notifies owner of the company before receiving orders if shipment is damaged

· Manually moves inventory to make room for incoming orders

· Unpacks incoming orders, stocks warehouse racks, and keeps organized

· Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse, bathroom, and office; dusts, sweeps & vacuums floor, takes out trash daily, etc.

· Pulls inventory, pre-prices product, packs and prepares according to customer orders

· Tracks warehouse supplies and notifies owner of the company when supplies need to be ordered

· Identifies damages, loss, or surplus of goods and materials and reports to owner of company

· Assists with facility maintenance i.e., changing light bulbs, minor repairs, etc.

· Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts

· Assist in specific projects as needed

· Must follow all safety codes

· Must follow all policies and procedures set forth by the company
