Job Description:

Baxter & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice, tax planning, and accounting services to our diverse clientele. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tax planning and compliance services for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to clients, including investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver integrated wealth management solutions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize tax efficiency for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial planning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
