Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment in an industrial environment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Under the routine direction of the Superintendent, provides high level support for ASU operations, instrumentation, mechanical, and other duties as required.
- Candidate will be required to perform work outdoors in variable weather conditions, and at elevated heights.
- Work duties will focus on valve troubleshooting and repair, cryogenic pump replacements, cryogenic pump rebuilding, overseeing contractor labor force, general and specialized facility maintenance, and pipeline maintenance duties.
- Additional support of one remote location and in-house project management, up to 10% travel.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Experience with pumps, pipefitting, valve, HVAC, and/or millwright experience.
- Experience with pump rebuilding and installation.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
