Window and Door Service Technician

Slides Rite Sliding Door Repair and Installation is hiring a Window and Door Service Technician to become a part of our team We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced window and door service technician who can independently troubleshoot service concerns and initiate repair. Those who apply should have exceptional in-home customer service skills and the ability to present the company well.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to different homes and businesses to remove old windows, doors, and frames and replace them with new ones
• Working with power tools, sealing fittings, taking accurate measurements, transporting supplies
• Communicate effectively to customers before, during, and possibly after service
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Troubleshoot and repair issues on job
• Track all equipment and supplies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in construction related field
• Experience installing and servicing windows and doors
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance and 50+lbs with assistance
• Excellent in-home customer service skills and represent the company well
• Ability to work well in teams and by yourself
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Dependable and hardworking
• Detail oriented
