Experienced (3 years minimum) tire & auto repair specialist needed. Pay depends on experience. Busy shop needs ASE certified technician. We strive to hire caring people who naturally like to repair vehicles and strive to help people maintain their vehicles. We perform inspections using digital vehicle checklists. Major activities include:
* Assisting (not training) technician mechanics in performing technical activities.
* Diagnoses and repairs to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
*Adequately explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
*Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
*Keeping store management aware of needed maintenance and mechanical repair problems as they occur.
*Keep an organized and neat store and shop.

Are you currently working at a tire/vehicle repair facility and want an improved environment? Fast-paced facility working on many cars per day. Pay per hour depends on skills. Also pay extra commission for quality work. NO SUNDAY WORK. State Inspectors license a plus Do not reply if you do not currently work for a shop or have worked for a shop as a technician.
