Our firm is currently looking to hire an experienced Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Attorney to join the team. We have extensive experience in medical malpractice and personal injury cases that have come to substantial settlement resolution.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of medical malpractice claims, including evaluating potential cases, obtaining expert support, drafting pre-suit 60L letters, preparing Offers of Proof, preparing pleadings, engaging in discovery, taking and defending depositions, engaging in motion practice, and trial work
  • Representing clients in court and negotiating settlements
  • Conducting legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
  • Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop legal strategies for prosecution of medical malpractice claims
  • Maintaining client relationships and communicating case progress regularly

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • A license to practice law in MA; other state licenses a plus
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Plaintiff’s medical malpractice litigation
  • Proven experience in managing a diverse case load and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in legal research software, case management software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess the ability to work in a paperless law firm
