Associate Attorney

McManus Ateshoglou Aiello & Apostolakos PLLC (“MAAA”) is an expanding litigation firm with offices in the Manhattan Financial District and in Garden City, Long Island. It is seeking to hire multiple motivated attorneys to join its team of litigation professionals. Associate Attorneys will be engaged in all aspects of litigation in the courts of the State of New York and New Jersey.
MAAA maintains an energetic work environment based upon professionalism, respect and teamwork. MAAA provides attorneys with the opportunity to develop and hone their litigation skills.
Qualifications:
- J.D. Degree
- Admitted to practice in New York.
- Strong writing, communication and advocacy skills.
- Litigation experience.
Benefits:
- Base salary is $80,000 to $138,000 based upon experience.
- Defined performance bonus structure.

It is the essence of MAAA’s firm culture to litigate every case aggressively. MAAA attorneys are always prepared to advance a litigation through the use of discovery and dispositive motions, and in the absence of a favorable settlement, pursue appropriate relief through the court at the trial and appellate levels.
MAAA attorneys are well versed in issues relating to claims and suits involving owners, tenants, contractors and subcontractors arising from construction accidents, the New York Labor Law, insurance coverage and indemnification, premises liability, dram shop liability, foreseeability, municipalities, immunity, notice requirements, trucking and automobile accidents, leasing agreements and serious injury thresholds, property damage, subrogation and the enforceability of waivers, employment and supervision, wage and hour, professional malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as claims and suits arising from commercial transactions, contracts, shareholder / membership agreements, derivative claims brought on behalf of business entities, and officer and director liability.
MAAA effectively assists clients in assessing each claim by promptly reporting all relevant information.
