What you will do:
- Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, etc.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and organizational policies and procedures.
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to be presented to management and the board of directors.
- Verify completeness of cost entry and inventory transactions for month-end reporting.
- Provide oversight and management of physical inventory records, including reconciliations of quarterly cycle counts to general ledger reporting.
What you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Public Accounting (audit) experience is a plus
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, techniques, and best practices.
