Job Title: Part- time Office Assistant  (Immediate Need)

Part- time Office Assistant  Pay rate: $25/ hourly 

Part- time Office Assistant Schedule :3 days/week, 5 hours day, (9:00am-2:00pm )

Part- time Office Assistant  Start Date: ASAP

 

An Infrastructure firm in Ontario has a 6 month +  opportunity for an upbeat and positive Part- time Office Assistant . 

 

Part- time Office Assistant  Responsibilities:

  •  Monitor inventory of office and kitchen supplies and provide OA with list to order

  • Replenish kitchen items a few times a week:

    • Cutlery, hot and cold cups, plates, bowls, and stir sticks, etc.

    • Soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, cream, and sugar

  • Assist in scheduling and preparing for visitors to the office

  • Assist in setting up conference rooms for meetings/ lunches, as well as clean up after meetings

  • Be sure office, conference room, and kitchen are clean at the end of each day

  • Aide in putting together brochures and promotional items for new hire; Setup for “First Day” IT and Orientation

  • Oversee clerical tasks, such as receiving and delivering mail to the appropriate person

  • Will assist in retrieving receipts for expense reports. May occasionally enter expense information for OA’s supported officers. OA to look over and verbally approve before assistant submits

  • Be available to assist office staff when needed: Copy, scan, create simple documents

  • The ideal person will work with a high degree of attention to detail and has a pleasant demeanor. 

Part- time Office Assistant   Requirements:

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma 

Years Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

Skills:  MS Suite 

Preferred -Basic knowledge: Assist with setting up Teams meetings (sharing screens); Occasional minor troubleshooting; Connectivity of docking station/ monitors/ laptop.
