Job DescriptionJob Description

The Dispatcher will work with hospice agencies to ensure that their orders are accurate, delivered on time and efficiently, and that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and emails from hospice agencies & patient families
    Process orders and invoices in a timely manner; enter purchase orders into the system for shipment or credit.
  • Analyze delivery routes and makes any necessary changes to ensure schedules are routed effectively
  • Ensure the accountability of driver route completion and that all necessary documents are completed (i.e., website updates, source docs, missing equipment)
    Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers and co-workers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other departments to keep account records updated and resolve customer issues.
  • Provide information about products to customers; answer questions about products or services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be available to work in an on call rotation.
