CRDN is the industry leader in textile, electronics, and art restoration. When a homeowner has a fire, flood, or other loss, insurance companies will send us to pack-out, restore, store, and deliver back damaged textiles, electronics, and art.

We are looking to hire a Textiles Restoration Technician whose primary duties will be to work with our Textiles Lead to restore our clients' garments, bedding, and other laundry to the way things were before the disaster.

Secondary duties will include cross training in a second restoration technique and shop organization.

Responsibilities:

· Learn to operate washers and dryers at the direction of the Textiles Lead.

· Learn the properties of various fabrics and textiles and develop an understanding of care labels and the appropriate care for garments.

· Fold and iron garments appropriately to meet CRDN standards.

· Hang, box, label and put finished work in storage.

· Complete daily production logs and submit them to the Admin.

· Keep the textiles work area and equipment organized and clean.

· Assist with the inventorying of incoming jobs.

· Participate in pack outs and deliveries when needed.

· Become proficient in the use of CRDN software.

· Cross train in at least one other restoration discipline.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

Hours:

· Monday – Friday 8:00am 4:30pm

· This position is eligible for overtime when approved and as required or packouts and deliveries.

 

Benefits:

· 1 week of Paid Time Off (PTO accrues with hours worked) starting after 90 days

· 6 paid holidays after 90 days (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)

  • Must pass Background Check (required by insurance partners)
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
  • Be compassionate with a desire to help people
  • Present a professional image
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and solve problems
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
