Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:Collect delinquent accounts for property taxes.
Essential Functions:
  • Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
  • Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
  • Confer with customers by telephone about their accounts
  • Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
  • Persuade customers to pay amounts due or make arrangements for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules that the firm requires.
  • Persuade customer to pay taxes amounts by using methods that are available to the collectors.(check by phone, E-Payment (Credit Card or E-Check)
  • Responsible with keeping up with their email, incoming correspondence and respond in a timely manner.
  • Responsible with keeping up voicemails and follow up in a timely manner.
  • May be needed to help with inbound calls
  • May be needed to help with payoff duties
  • All other duties assigned
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee sits for at least 6 hours per day.
  • The employee uses their fingers for picking, pinching or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
