Job SummaryWe are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our team As a Low Voltage Technician, you are a key member of the team and coordinate the installation, repair, and service of electric and electronic components. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. This position is right for you if you are an experienced low-voltage technician devoted to your craft. The ideal candidate is focused, responsible, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys problem-solving complex issues.
Responsibilities 
  • Read and follow plans
  • Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment
  • Determine the condition of equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs
  • Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
  • Follow established processes and procedures
  • Walk the customer through any new or updated equipment to ensure everyone knows how to use it properly
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by always wearing proper PPE and following safety procedures
  • Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience installing, testing and terminating fiber, Cat 5 , Cat5E, Cat 6 and Cat 6A
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physically able to lift heavy objects as necessary
  • Proficiency in navigating iPad-based technology
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be comfortable working on your feet, in tight spaces, and a variety of weather conditions
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Positive Attitude
  • Team player who can work independently
