Hospitality Coordinator

Position Description:

The Hospitality coordinator is responsible for assisting in all aspects of hospitality operations. This includes ensuring exceptional guest experiences, effective staff management, efficient operations, and financial success.

As a Minister of Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in executing a hospitality experience for our industry guests, employees, and household. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, expertise, and leadership skills while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities: 

 Include but are not limited to the following: 

• Assist on-site services for weekly events  
• Assist with housekeeping tasks/Perform cleaning duties during staff shortages 
• Assist with tours & off-site activities 
• Offer high-quality customer service 
• Manage inventory and order supplies for weekly events 
• Meet standards and procedures for work 
• Attend staff meetings for policy discussion 
• Examine and determine need for repair and replacement/alert findings to management 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety regulations. 
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. 
• Deliver instructions with clarity and efficiency to staff 
• Interact with guests 
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of event spaces 
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for F&B execution 
• Provide meal service to guests for weekly events 
• Provide bar service for weekly events 
• Be able to provide back up support to Hospitality Managment 

 Qualifications:

• This job requires continuous physical movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing  
• Must be able to communicate in English 
• Must be a team player 
• Must have high energy and a positive attitude 
• Must be able to work any 10 hr. shift within 8am to 1am, a minimum of 3 days a week 
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays 
• Front of house restaurant/bar experience a plus 

Must have: 

• Proven experience in a hospitality role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences 
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills 
• Proficient in using hospitality management software and other relevant technology 
• Knowledge of revenue management, sales, and marketing strategies 
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance 

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality 
• Event coordination experience  
• Speaking and understanding Spanish a plus

Salary:  

• Competitive Salary: $45,000
