Job DescriptionJob Description

Carolina Medical Lab is seeking a Phlebotomist to service a physician's office in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a part-time position with the following hours:

Monday-Friday, AM.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform venipuncture on patients, following CML phlebotomy protocols.
  • Complete required paperwork, including requisitions and collection lists.
  • Identify patients and ensure appropriate labeling of all specimens.
  • Submit accurate documentation regarding work/travel mileage logs.
  • Process and prepare specimens according to testing guidelines, including centrifuging, aliquoting, light protection, freezing, etc.
  • Adhere to facility policies, including timeliness and appropriate attire.
  • Prepare specimens for pick-up and transport to the laboratory.
  • Establish standards and track services to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Must possess a passion for safety and customer service.
