The Commercial Construction Superintendent manages on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities to oversee subcontractors, materials, and equipment.

  • Pay is based upon experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and specifications.
  • Scheduling: Develop and adjust construction schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections, ensure quality standards, and address issues.
  • Safety: Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Communication: Serve as the main contact between management, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of activities, permits, and inspections.
  • Resource Management: Optimize labor, materials, and equipment use, and control expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: [5-10] years in commercial construction, [3-5] in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of construction processes, strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, proficiency in construction management software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and stand/walk for extended periods.
