We are looking for a Mobile Service Tech to join our team at Professional Towing & Recovery.
The right person for the job will have experience performing service such as oil changes, tire changes, battery jumps, etc.
This is an hourly position based out of our airport location at Sky Harbor.
This is a 50 hour per week opportunity - 10 hours of guaranteed over time each week, the opportunity to earn tips, and be trained in a wheel lift tow truck during down time on the job
Responsibilities:
- Basic Maintenance: Carry out other routine maintenance tasks such as fluid checks and top-offs (coolant, brake fluid, etc.), and air filter replacements.
- Inspection and Diagnostics: Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues, and report findings.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by explaining basic maintenance procedures and answering questions as needed.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year relevant experience
- Knowledge of necessary equipment for the job
- Strong work ethic and ability to get along with others / provide great customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and with a team
- 25 years or older
- Possess valid AZ driver's license with minimal driving infractions or incidents.
- Must be able to successfully complete drug screening, MVR, criminal background check, and DOT health screenings before employment and randomly once on staff
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle and navigate technology required for completing notes and calls
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50+ pounds
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual and communicative
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Working outdoors at vehicle breakdown locations. Lifting and carrying tires and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Bending, kneeling, and stooping as required for service calls. Works in all weather and traffic conditions.
Important Note
Because of our government contracts, background check will specifically check for theft, possession, sexual assault, and manslaughter.
