Truck Mechanic

Experienced- Night Shift

Choose to be part of a fast-paced maintenance team at the cutting edge of the waste industry. Western Disposal is seeking an experienced and motivated Truck Mechanic to work on our high-end equipment. Our mechanics have opportunities to exercise and advance their skills using computer diagnostics and fleet maintenance software.

Work is night shift. Hours involve working four 10.5-hour days a week, from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am with overtime as needed. Also, working every third Saturday during the day is required. Work is year-round without seasonal variations.

Qualified candidates should possess:

· Minimum of 5 years as a truck mechanic, refuse truck experience highly preferred.

· Proficiency in maintenance of all truck systems: hydraulics, electrical and diesel systems. CNG experience and/or electronics expertise preferred.

· Excellent trouble-shooting and decision-making skills.

· Experience with computer diagnostics.

· Computer proficiency required, CFA or Shop Floor experience desired.

· Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

· Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Selected candidate will need to pass post offer drug screen and background check.
