Responsibilities:

- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicles.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.

- Conduct inspections and tests to identify any additional repair or maintenance needs.

- Repair or replace faulty components.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks.

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed.

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.

- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.

- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.

- Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair instructions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license.

-Basic computer skills.

-Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.

-Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.

-Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

-Follow all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures.

-Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

-Strong focus on fixing it right the FIRST time and providing the best experience possible.

-Ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and AC systems.

-Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.

-Must have a valid state of Michigan certification(s) and/or ASE.

-Most provide your own set of tools to perform work.

-Hours and pay will be discussed per interview.
