Maintenance Supervisor Wanted
Location: Chicago Suburbs (Full Relocation Assistance Provided)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead by Example: Direct and coach a team of mechanics, showcasing best practices.
  • Routine Maintenance: Plan and execute regular and scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Team Management: Oversee hiring, workforce planning, scheduling, employee relations, and development.
  • Safety and Improvement: Ensure a safe working environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project Participation: Engage in capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting: Address electrical and mechanical breakdowns promptly to keep production on track.
What You’ll Need:
  • Educational Background: BS degree is required, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Management and or similar educations
  • Experience: 2+ years of leadership in manufacturing maintenance across any industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, with the ability to coach and teach these skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attitude: Positive outlook, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points For:
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in food manufacturing, consumer products, high-speed packaging, or any high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Veteran Status: Military veterans excel in this dynamic setting.
  • Technical Savvy: Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience with PLCs, VFDs, slicers, wrappers, ovens, freezers, and similar equipment.
