Responsibilities

• Meet with potential tenants and accompany on tours of available units
• Following up on leads for potential renters
• Perform background/credit checks to confirm prospective tenants’ qualifications
• Prepare leasing documents for potential tenants compliant with property standards and regulations
• Handling the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees
• Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues
• Build rapport with existing tenants to provide personalized, white glove service
• Oversee community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers and laundry rooms
• Assist with general office duties as needed

Requirements

• Min 3-5 years of experience working as a leasing agent, and/or Real Estate sales experience
• In-depth understanding of the real estate industry including laws, policies and best practices
• Advanced sales and marketing skills with personable, professional and outgoing demeanor
• Stellar organizational, project and time management and decision-making skills
• Possess outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills with a collaborative, team minded focus
• Display stellar customer service skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite of Programs
• Proficiency in Yardi required
