Empire is Hiring Seal Coat Foreman 

Southern California's fastest growing paving contractor is looking for a seal coat foreman to join our production team. Our office is located in Orange, California and we service the entire Southern California Area. To be eligible for this position 3-year experience is preferred. Sealcoat foreman will be responsible for cleaning, prepping, trimming, maintaining and applying liquid seal coat and crack seal on pavement surfaces.   

Applying for this position means that you will be working as a physical laborer and in a manner that is consistent with the striping and paving industry.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Will perform tasks involving physical labor at parking lots by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment
• Training new team members on equipment and best processes
•  Use blowers, brooms, shovels, and a variety of other hand tools to ensure a clean surface prior to recoating.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat and organized job site
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, managers and customers
• Ability to follow plans, delegate tasks, work efficiently and problem solve in the field
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, answer questions, communicate concerns back to the management team, and be the authority in the field
• Lead and assist crew members to make sure a clean job site is always maintained, tools and equipment are properly used/maintained and accounted for and that projects are executed to company standards
• Complete all required paperwork to properly track daily production and crew accountability
• Take Photos of completed project

Qualifications: 

• Must be able to meet all safety requirements
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends as required
• Managing various size projects from start to completion
• Safely operating trucks/machinery and hauling equipment to and from the job
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Must possess a valid CA. driver's license and DMV record at the time of interview
• Must have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as measurements, weights, area, circumference, and volume
