Job Title: Part-Time Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver

Location: Souderton, PA

Hourly Rate: $16-$18 per hour

Hours:25-30 hours per week

Job Description:

Boyd Machine Co Inc, a respected family-owned CNC Machine shop located in Souderton, PA, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Shop Assistant to support various shop operations. This role is part-time, offering 25-30 hours per week at an hourly rate of $16-$18. The Shop Assistant must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be willing to perform a variety of tasks, including deliveries, material processing, and general shop support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Deliveries: Responsible for making deliveries to customers and suppliers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all items are handled with care.  

2.      Material Processing: Process materials by cutting them to set lengths and following precise instructions to prepare them for machining or assembly.  

3.      General Support: Be available to assist with any other tasks as needed throughout the scheduled workday, including shop organization, inventory management, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age. 

·         Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 

·         Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay close attention to detail when processing materials. 

·         Flexibility: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment. 

·         Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently. 

·         Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
