Gabriel Environmental Services is seeking a full time accounts receivable clerk. We are a small environmental consulting firm located just north of downtown Chicago. Positive team environment, both within office staff and entire company.

Job responsibilities include:

* Process client invoices
* Process client payments, including credit card charges
* Handle collections effectively
* Oversee accounts receivable write-offs
* Help answering incoming calls and other general administrative tasks

Work and Educational Experience requirements:

* An Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 0 to 2 years of work experience in accounting, OR
* High school diploma/GED plus 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

Skills requirements:
* Computer skills, including Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
* Strong interpersonal skills to work with project managers to get billing completed in timely manner
* Good organizational and problem solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks
* Good customer service, including written and verbal communication skills
