Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Mobile Automotive Mechanic/Technician The Mobile Mechanic will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium and light duty fleet vehicles. You will be going from 1-3 sites per shift, and you will be using our mobile service center (essentially a garage on wheels)

Compensation: Pay: $35 - $40 per hour depending on experience. Paid weekly, every Friday

Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday, 7pm - 3:30am)

What the Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

· Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer

· Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles

· Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles

· Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

What our ideal candidate looks like:

· At least 5 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.

· Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly

· Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills

· Must have own tools

· Must have valid driver's license

· Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
