Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Support:
- Welcome patients, assist with check-in, and gather necessary medical and insurance information.
- Handle payments, process authorizations, and manage billing issues.
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with patient inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to patient needs and handling follow-up appointments.
Clinical Assistance:
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and performing basic medical tests.
- Ensure exam rooms are set up, clean, and fully stocked between patient visits.
Documentation & Records:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both electronic (EHR) and paper-based.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and easily accessible for medical staff.
Inventory & Equipment Management:
- Manage medical supplies and equipment, maintaining stock levels and ensuring proper storage.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Quality Assurance:
- Support quality assurance efforts by participating in audits, data collection, and performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
