Precise is looking for an Assembly Technicians. An assembly technicians perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. In this role, will be asked to put together or repair products manually or using machines. This may include piecing together the product, often with a team, and performing quality assurance on the entire process. You may also need to inspect both your work and the work of your team.
Responsibilities:
· Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
· Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
· Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
· Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
· Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
· Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
· Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area including general and detailed cleaning of the production floor, i.e. sweeping, mopping, waxing, emptying garbage cans, etc.
· Prepare finished products for shipment
· Attendance is an essential duty of the position.
· Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
· Operates a broad variety of equipment and hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
· Ability to use various tools to identify and solve problems
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to lift up to 25-pounds
· Ability to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Interacts with Quality and Supply Chain as required.
- Ability to work well in teams
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
