We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing project costs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring that projects remain within budget. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Collaborate with engineers, and contractors to gather essential information for estimates.

• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns.

• Prepare and submit estimates and bids in accordance with project deadlines.

• Monitor project costs and communicate with project managers to ensure budget adherence.

• Review and update cost estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions.

• Maintain a database of historical costs and pricing information for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.

• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
