Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Experienced General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction and be capable of performing a variety of tasks on residential and commercial projects. As an Experienced General Laborer, you will support our skilled tradespeople and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist carpenters, framers, roofers, and other skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks.

- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment.

- Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

- Install, repair, and maintain siding, sheathing, and roofing materials under supervision.

- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead carpenter or project manager.

 

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.

- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

- Ability to operate construction tools and equipment.

- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.

- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
