Position Overview: Hush is seeking a skilled and experienced IV Therapy Nurse to join our esteemed team. The IV Therapy Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the IV infusions team, as well as providing hands-on patient care as needed. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, leadership skills, attention to detail, and expertise in IV therapy administration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to the clinical operations of the IV infusions team, ensuring adherence to policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling and assignments for the IV infusions team, optimizing efficiency and patient care.
• Conduct clinical intake and assessment reviews prior to any infusion, determining appropriate infusion therapy based on intakes.
• Monitor vital signs and charting during infusion sessions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate proficiency in compounding and mixing per infusion requirements.
• Prepare and administer IV infusions, ensuring the highest safety and comfort levels for patients.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, managing any side effects, and documenting treatment outcomes.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and IV therapy guidelines.
• Perform daily inventory management and documentation for appropriate ordering of supplies.
• Provide hands-on patient care as needed, administering IV infusions and supporting patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with prior experience in IV drip therapy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IV therapy protocols, including infusion techniques, medication compatibility, and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care, prioritizing patient comfort, well-being, and satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-end wellness environment.
• Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality.
