Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining trailers to ensure they are in safe and optimal working condition. As a Truck & Trailer Mechanic, you will utilize your expertise in using power tools, hand tools, and reading schematics to diagnose and repair various mechanical issues. Also truck and trailer DOT inspections that come in for annual inspections and ones that come off the road for DOT inspections. Applicants must supply their own basic tools, have a motivated work ethic, a current driver's license and have the ability to trouble shoot and solve problems. Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of trailers to identify any mechanical or electrical issues.
- Perform repairs on brakes, shocks, struts, and miscellaneous repairs.
- Utilize welding and soldering techniques to fix structural components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in truck and trailers.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Truck and Trailer Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in using aligning equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong knowledge of brake repair, welding, shocks, struts, and soldering.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in trailers is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-8 hour shift
-1st and 2nd shift available
