TaylorHelm is an up and coming, fast growing contracting company seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join a positive work environment.

Overview:

The Trencher Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment, understanding of reading plans, performing daily maintenance, (blowing out of filters, fueling, greasing & cleaning.) Experience installing MV cable, operating other heavy equipment (backhoes, excavators and bulldozers) is a plus. Ideal candidates must have prior experience working in the construction industry and the ability to be out of the equipment helping with crews on the ground at times. This position requires working outdoors in the sun and inclement weather as well.

Requirements:

• Operate equipment to perform various tasks, such as digging trenches, moving materials and other tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
• Complete required safety training as needed.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work at different job sites and travel if needed.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications:

• Some experience operating trencher but willing to train.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30/hour with $100/day per-diem

Expected hours: 40-60 with weekly overtime.
