Pallet Rack Installer

J&W Pallet Racking Services LLC has an immediate opening for a Pallet Rack Installer to become a part of our team We install and tear down pallet racking systems, wire partitions, mezzanines, steel shelving and other steel structures inside distribution centers and warehouses throughout Wisconsin.

We are looking for someone with a willingness to work hard and learn new things. Experience is not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of pallet racking systems

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Complete required safety trainings as needed

• Operate various tools

• Track all equipment and supplies

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous pallet racking or construction experience preferred (welding experience a plus)

• Ability to operate and drive forklift and/or scissor lift preferred

• Ability to handle physical workload

• Ability to work well in teams

• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Ability to read floor plans and layouts a plus

• Ability to listen and follow directions

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work from heights

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours

• Travel mainly within Wisconsin – occasional out-of-state travel as needed

• Safety equipment – steel toed shoes and hard hat

Pay starts at $20-$25 based upon experience
