Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Attendant team at GoDog. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing front desk operations, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and upholding GoDog policies and procedures. This position will have rotating responsibilities in our daycare front desk, play yards, and boarding facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the face of GoDog, greeting customers warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns with empathy and efficiency.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly duties, including client registration, reservation management, lobby maintenance, and front office organization.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by anticipating needs and tailoring interactions to create positive experiences.
  • Ensure accurate usage of Front Desk software for efficient communication with pet parents and internal data management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain dog and human first aid certifications.
  • Monitor playgroups to ensure safe and positive interactions among dogs, intervening when necessary to prevent any aggressive or unsafe behavior.
  • Water, feed, and clean up after dogs, following specific dietary instructions and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Assist in client registration, checking pets in and out, and relay critical information to kennel and daycare staff regarding feeding, medication, and scheduled services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including lobby, common spaces, and storage areas.
  • Ensure accurate usage of Front Desk software for seamless communication between departments and accurate data management.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including disinfecting play yards, and holding areas, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven customer service, leadership, and/or pet-management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with pet owners and team members.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our facility operates during extended hours.
  • Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels with patience and confidence.
  • Proven work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and effective time management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions.
