Sugar River Pizza Co. is seeking a lead bartender to join our team. We offer a full-service bar with 24 tap lines, a 50+ seat patio, multiple dining areas and a bustling carry out and delivery business. This is a great opportunity for a person looking to branch out from the typical restaurant. Our bar features a unique beer list and seasonal cocktail menu. Our Bar Lead will help us work with local breweries and distilleries to help take that menu to the next level.

What we are looking for:

-Running a restaurant is a team sport. It requires seamless coordination with multiple areas that include many unique personalities. You will coordinate the day-to-day operation including maintaining a positive and professional environment in our bar area.

-Provide professional leadership and direction to all employees. Assisting the owner with hiring, training and retention of management roles across the restaurant.

-Equipment breaks, stuff gets worn out or simply something new is needed. You will be responsible for reporting maintenance and repair requests for the bar area to your management team so fixes can be scheduled in a timely manner.

-We are not a corporate restaurant so you will work closely with the owners and fellow management team to find and fill gaps in our current processes.

-Be a jack of all trades so you can fill in where needed. Some days that may mean running a delivery, the next you may be helping with catering, whipping up some cocktails at the bar or serving a table or two.

-Be a master of communication. On a daily basis you will be working with our guests to make sure their visit to our restaurant is memorable (in a good way). You will be communicating with staff regarding new promotions, procedures and reviews. You will also be communicating daily with the owner to ensure the restaurant is running smoothly.
