Full job description

Medical Vision Technology is looking for a full-time CA-licensed optometrist to join their team. They are seeking an individual with strong general optometry and anterior segment skills to work in a private practice group setting. The position offers complete autonomy from hospitals or private equity groups and provides a fast-paced environment for the optometrist. Both new graduates and experienced optometrists are welcome to apply.

Medical Vision Technology has been serving the Sacramento Valley for over 35 years, specializing in refractive, cataract surgery, glaucoma, cornea, and complex anterior segment diseases. The practice has a strong network of referring primary care physicians and is made up of 3 general ophthalmologists, 1 glaucoma specialist, 1 oculoplastic & neuro specialist, and 1 optometrist, supported by experienced support staff and a marketing department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensures the best patient care for all comprehensive eye care, preoperative and postoperative cataract, cornea, and glaucoma patients.

· Accurate patient refractions during primary eye care and postoperative evaluations.

· Provide an outstanding patient experience.

· Ensures adequate communication and coordination of care between surgeons and patients.

· Assist in other areas as needed.
