Responsibilities

• Verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• The SC will compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• SC will maintain shipping and receiving records.
• Maintain a clean and stocked shipping area.
• The SC works closely with the Operations Department to check inventory records to determine availability of requested product and recommend product or services that
• will meet customers' needs.
• Accurately receive incoming material to maintain inventory integrity.
• Pick orders, record lots, and perform transfers on outgoing orders.
• Pick, complete packing list, and check-out any surgical kits that are requested and perform transfers when needed.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
• Receive, handle, ship and ensure proper storage of human tissue products in accordance with written procedures.
• Respond to alerts from the LabAlert freezer temperature monitoring system

• Ability to use typical software packages (i.e.: MS Office, ERP Systems, etc.)
• Complete training and demonstrate safe operation of handling material, medical devices and/or equipment.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, etc.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• H.S Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years’ experience working in shipping/receiving or warehouse environment.
