CABINET VISION or MOZAIK CNC ENGINEER

Litchfield Custom Cabinetry is a successful cabinet company in the Lowcountry area. We are seeking a cabinetry engineer with experience in Cabinet Vision or Mozaik CNC Version.software. 

Position Summary:

Must work at the factory minimum (4) days a week

The CAD/Drafter/Engineer is responsible for drafting and generating Moziak shop drawings and millwork details. Submittal of drawings, preparing material lists, specifying hardware, and assembling information for fabrication and installation teams.

Functions and Responsibilities:

· Thoroughly examine and interpret architectural and interior designs from drawings, construction blueprints, specifications, and supplemental documentation

· Production of detailed and accurate shop drawings of cabinetry using 20/20 and Mozaik software.or Cabinet Vision software

· Accurately label measurements, and plan elevations, sections, details, schedules, and finishes.

· Work closely with the production team to provide input on the best construction methods and provide engineering clarification as needed.

· Accurately determine hardware form, fit, function, and communication to the CNC Router.

· Update field dimensions and revise drawings per red lines as needed from Architects and PM

· Revise documentation per customer request or field dimensions

· Modifying customer's design for functionality and structural integrity

· Produce full-size profiles of moldings and identify profile knife locations

· Build and maintain product library and catalog

· Maintain organized 20/20 and Mozaik files/folders or Cabinet Vision as required

· Conduct field measures as needed approx (5%) of the time

· Other duties and tasks as assigned

Skills Required :

· (3) years experience in Cabinet Vision or Mozaik CNC

· Ability to interpret architectural/design drawings

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision

· Superior time management, organizational skills, and scheduling ability

· Ability to work with strict deadlines and in a fast-paced environment

· Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic

· Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD 1 year (Preferred)

· Proficient in basic math skills

· Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

· Ability to interpret the scope of work

Job hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. With some evenings and weekends
