FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in


Position Summary: The clinician will be a part of the CCBHC assigned to provide treatment of referred patients and assist with barriers to care. Staff will conduct assessment screenings; care coordination; consultation; and crisis evaluations on site and in the community, as appropriate. The access point is the entry to the agency and the clinician is responsible for initial assessments and utilization of screening tools to develop initial treatment plan. The clinician is responsible for providing crisis intervention services on a rotating basis via telephone or in person, for people calling the agency’s emergency response phone within two hours of notification and must be able to maintain a flexible schedule to allow for emergency evaluations within allotted amount of time.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc  ) required
  • Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
  • Experience with Substance Use Disorders   
  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
  • Spanish Speaking required and is compensated
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team    
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
